Columbus, OH – Bands do Let It Be Naked

Six Columbus bands, including The Lunch Buddies have joined to make a tribute album to Let It Be Naked. Josh of the Lunch Buddies is less than enthusiastic about I Dig A Pony, the first piece that fell on the Lunch Buddies to do. “We are actually going to play the song naked ourselves, but the lyrics suck. Even Lennon said so. What the hell is roll a stoney anyway?” Their other song in the set, “I’ve Got A Feeling” is only slightly better. “I think we will rewrite some lyrics,” concluded Josh.

Could be. And that is not even the most embarrassing line, which is near the end: You can syndicate any boat you row. Total nonesense.

Slovenian machine band Laibach recorded "Let it be" album in 1988. If that had been done in 1930's Germany, Hitler would obviously had dig it. Hilarious.

I may have one cut off of that, and I do have a cut on a Stones collection, their version of Sympathy for the Devil. Pretty industrial!

Laibach's record "Sympathy for the devil" came out same year as their "Let it be". Actually "Sympathy" contains six versions of that Stones song performed by three Slovenian bands. -Rammstein owes a lot to Laibach.
