Wasilla, AK-- Reporters have learned from an unnamed source that Sarah Palin was never allowed a city check book while mayor. In fact the city manager balanced Sarah's personal check book on a weekly basis. Sarah was fairly good about returning city credit card receipts for the city manager to keep track of. There was one unspecified large sum with "hockey stuff" scribbled on the back.

Obama did not know where they keep the check book and his wife balances the check book in any case.

McCain was not sure how many checking accounts he has and who is in charge of keeping track of them, but he referred to his accountant who was unable to comment.

Joe Biden was a different case altogether, as he never wrote down any checks in the record book, for either his personal or official checks for twenty years and simply had "his people" pay the bank whatever the overdraft was every month.
