Porcupine Treen uuden levyn nimi on Deadwing ja se ilmestyy 21. maaliskuuta. Levystä tulee sekä normaali stereoversio, että 5.1 kanavainen julkaisut.

jossa ei tosin vielä ole kuin pieni pätkä taustamusiikkia ja palapeli(!).

Kokoa palapeli ja saat muutakin näkyviin.
No niin minä vähän ajattelinkin, mutta ilmeisesti kokosin sen liian epämääräisesti kun mitään ei tapahtunut. Yritetään uudestaan :)
Huh, kylläpäs on harvinaisen ärsyttävä saitti. Palapeli pitää koota just eikä melkein tai mitään ei tapahdu. Onnistuin kuitenkin, mutta eipä siellä juuri mitään ole vielä kuin yksi epämääräinen video.
Ilmeisesti jotain muuta on tulossa myöhemmin. Mystistä.
Onpa typerä saitti. Kokosin palapelin ja katselin ärsyttävän kauan, varmaan 15 sekuntia, jotakin mielenkiinnotonta animaatiota ja kun mitään merkityksellistä ei tullut näkyviin niin suljin koko selainikkunan. Olisi ehkä pitänyt kytkeä äänet tietokoneeseen mutta enpä jaksa, PT on muutenkin mennyt huonoon suuntaan viime levyillään.

The album marks the long-overdue follow up to the band's critically acclaimed 2002 Lava Records debut In Absentia. Deadwing is scheduled for a May 2005 release on Lava Records, a division of the Warner Music Group and home of Simple Plan, Unwritten Law, Kid Rock, and Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Deadwing, produced by principal songwriter/guitarist Steven Wilson, features a total of ten new tracks which showcase Porcupine Tree's textural sound designs, haunting melodies and superior musicianship. The album's lead off title track is an ambitious, ten-minute opus, reminiscent of classic rock songs designed to hook the listener immediately. The song is followed by the album's first single "Shallow," which in Steven Wilson's own words is "the equivalent of a big, dumb rock song, but in the way that people who are not dumb would do." The track scored #2 most added honors at Active Rock radio including support from major stations such as WAAF (Boston), WWDC (Washington D.C.) and WBZX (Columbus.)
Other triumphant tracks on the disc include the beautiful, piano laced jewel "Lazarus," "Halo," featuring Adrien Belew (King Crimson, David Bowie) on guitar and "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here" which is best experienced inside headphones in order to appreciate the track's multiple layers. In addition to Belew, Mikael Ackerfeldt from Opeth lends backing vocals and secondary guitar work to a number of tracks. Deadwing also contains the newly re-recorded bonus track "Shesmovedon" which originally appeared on Porcupine Tree's earlier album Lightbulb Sun.

The quartet's fluid soundscapes and technologically superior recordings have wielded one of the most dedicated fan bases this side of the pond. Ihan OK levy tuo Deadwing. Ei siis huono.
