Robert Frippin itsensä laatima lehdistötiedote ep:stä ja tulevasta levystä http://www.disciplineglobalmobile.com/diary/

"King Crimson: The Power To Believe
I
King Crimson has reinvented its wheel. Before, there was a wheel. Now, there is a wheel. In between is suffering.
Happy With What You Have To Happy With (33 minute EP released by Sanctuary in October 2002) is the left hand.
The Power To Believe (53 minute LP released by Sanctuary in January 2003) is the right hand.
In the left hand are degrees of disappointment, resignation and despair.
In the right hand, there is hope.
In a strange and rapidly changing world, where reliable points of orientation shift position and small certainties of daily life appear to be threatened, there are times when reasonable people might despair. But hope is unreasonable, and love is greater than this.
II
The personnel for this incarnation of King Crimson (Line-Up Six) is:
Adrian Belew • guitar, vocals & electronic percussion
Robert Fripp • guitar
Trey Gunn • Warr guitar, rubber bass
Pat Mastelotto • drumming
Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With
01 Bude
02 Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With

Mostly engineered and mixed by Ken Latchney & recorded at StudioBelew. A Tone Probe production by Robert Fripp and David Singleton on behalf of King Crimson.
Running time: 33 minutes.
The Power To Believe
1. The Power To Believe I: A Cappella
2. Level Five
3. Eyes Wide Open

5. The Power To Believe II

8. Dangerous Curves
9. Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With
10. The Power To Believe III
11. The Power To Believe IV: Coda
Recorded by Machine, and produced by King Crimson & Machine, mainly in Nashville at The Tracking Room during July and August 2002.
Running time: 53 minutes.
The Power To Believe is the culmination of three years of Crimsonising by Line-up Six that began at StudioBelew, Nashville, in October 1999 with the writing and recording of The ConstruKction Of Light, followed by extensive touring in Europe, Japan & the Americas throughout 2000 & 2001. "
Mikä meni uudessa ep:ssä pieleen jos sitä kuvaillaan sanoilla: "disappointment, resignation and despair"? Vai viittaako Fripp tällä vain ep:n käsittelemiin aiheisiin?

Frippi se vaan angstaa ;)
Fripp onkin kyllä tosi angstinen äijä. :)
En taas ymmärrä, mitä Fripp valittaa. Happy on ollut ihan kohtalainen menestys fanien keskuudessa (Elephant Talkin kirjoitusten mukaan), ja pidän EP:stä itsekin. Toisaalta taas, kyseessä on herra "älä he*****i ota minusta valokuvaa" Fripp.
Uudella albumilla on odotusten mukaisesti Dangerous Curves ja Level Five. Todella hienoa, sillä pidin erityisesti kyseisistä kappaleista KCCC Nashville-livellä.

Joo, jollain livelevyllä oli monta minuuttua kestävä kohta jossa oli joku kuvien ottoon liittyvä hässäkkä. :o
Se oli Heavy ConstruKctionilla. Eikä kyseessä ole todellakaan mikään yksittäinen tapaus vaan Fripp on lopettanut soittamisen kesken useimmillakin keikoilla kuvaamisen takia. Tony Levin hieman piruili tästä mainostaessaan oman bändinsä keikkaa ja erityisesti mainitsi, että meitä saa sitten valokuvata :D. Levin sallii ilmeisesti keikalla myös fanien tekemät äänitykset.
Asioita joita FRED FRITH ei halua kuulla soundchekissään:
"Hei äijä! Vedit muuten siististi King Crimsonissa...."
:D ;) :P
Joutuuko Frith sitten paljonkin kuulemaan tuollaista?

Ilmeisesti, sillä tuo lukee hänen raiderissaan.
Ahaa. Aika mielenkiintoista.
